I have vertigo and a friend of mine said I should see a chiropractor for this. How does a chiropractor help w/ vertigo?

Vertigo is the loss of balance and orientation in space. Many times neck pain and nausea may be accompanied with vertigo.  The condition is often associated with inner ear problems, but research now shows that the neck can severely affect this condition.  Adjustments along with specific exercises to stimulate the nervous system have been shown to be very effective in reducing symptoms.

My son just finished second grade and still wets the bed. What can I do?

Bedwetting is usually treated in conventional medicine by drugs and behavior changes with questionable results. There now is evidence that subluxations of the low back can be a contributing factor. These nerves directly affect the bladder. If the pressure can be removed, improvement many times follows.

I am a fit, 35 year old female who feels very healthy. Why should I see a chiropractor?

Just as it is important to take care of your teeth, it is just as important if not more important to take care of your spine. You can’t get a new one. Also chiropractic has been shown to improve areas that you may not even realize would benefit.  A recent study of over 5600 adult patients throughout seven countries showed people who began chiropractic care without any neuromusculoskeletal problems, reported that they improved in areas such as: breathing, hearing, digestion, circulation and even in heart function.  Long term chiropractic care increased long term health improvements and the longer the patients were under chiropractic care the more positive changes they experienced.

I have horrible headaches a few times a week. I tried medication and that hasn’t helped. Is there something chiropractic can do?

Headaches can be very complicated. There are many different causes of headaches and different types of headaches. The first step is to differentiate what type of headache and/or headaches are being experienced; then finding the cause. Once the problem and type is discovered, specific treatments consisting of:  adjustments, therapies and possible nutritional supplements may be performed which has been shown to have great success.
